Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
At J. Italia Salon & Co., we value both your time and the time of our stylists and estheticians. To ensure fairness and efficiency for all clients, we maintain the following cancellation and rescheduling terms:
Notice Requirement
Clients must provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Notice provided less than 24 hours before the scheduled service will be considered a late cancellation.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as appointments not attended (“no-shows”), may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service total, charged to the card on file.
Clients who repeatedly cancel late or fail to attend appointments may be required to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure future bookings.
Card on File Requirement
To schedule an appointment, clients may be required to maintain a valid card on file. By booking with us, you authorize J. Italia Salon & Co. to charge the card on file in accordance with this policy.
Service Time & Adjustments
Arriving more than 10 minutes late to an appointment may result in an adjustment of the scheduled service, a shortened appointment, or the need to reschedule. In such cases, the late cancellation fee may still apply.
Group Bookings & Specialty Services
Certain services — including color corrections, extension installations, bridal services, and multi-hour appointments — may require a non-refundable retainer at the time of booking. These retainers are applied to the final service total but are forfeited if the appointment is canceled or rescheduled without adequate notice.
Exceptions
We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances occur. While exceptions may be made at management’s discretion, they are not guaranteed.
By scheduling an appointment with J. Italia Salon & Co., you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms of this Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
